Privacy and Enhanced Personalization.

To me privacy seems to be an issue when it comes to social media. I feel that even though you believe not everyone can see your stuff, they always can. I remember going to this meeting once and the person telling me that they could pull up all of our old posts even if they had been deleted. That blew my mind that they could still access all that information even though I had deleted it. I also feel that if you have an issue with privacy then you should not have a social media account. That is the point of social media to share information with the people around you. Someone is always going to see the things you post, so why not make sure you are ok with them. Most of my account that I have are on private which I like because I know only my friends can access them. Take instagram for example, I would not want some old creepy man looking at my account. That is why I have the private setting on it. I like knowing that I have to accept the person before they can even access my account. In what ways do you think privacy helps social media? Do you think that all of your information is actually private?
